Entitled people are all around us, and the more you have to interact with other human beings the more you find them. Just ask anybody who has to work in a service industry job. 

One such gas station clerk described her experience dealing with a man who thought she should comp him his cigarettes, all because she helped a struggling child with ten cents. The boy, who often came to the store to buy snacks for school with his loose change, came up a dime short on a $2 purchase. Of course, the clerk let it slide. The man behind him however insisted that if she was feeling so generous, she should let him take his pack without paying. Needless to say, she didn't let it slide. He even raised his hand to strike her before noticing she was pregnant.
